weekly recap: week of 11.10 – 11.16

Another week down for the count!  Time flies when you’re having fun!

weight loss.

last week: 163.8
this week:  163.4
total lost:  69.6

I was really hoping for a big number this week and after the weekend, I was really on target for that to happen.  I think having a day like this ultimately sabotaged me, but a) I did it to myself, and b) I may not have had the big number I was hoping for, but a loss is a loss, no matter how small (and apparently, I’m channeling my inner Dr. Suess today).

workout plans.

thursday:  run 2 + zumba
friday:  yoga rest day
saturday:  run 3
sunday:  whatever my heart desires hot yoga
monday:  bike 5 + zumba bike 7
tuesday:  run 2 + powerflex well, I did about 15 minutes of powerflex; then I got sick (quite literally)
wednesday:  rest day

Pretty okay.  Not as epic of a week as it could have been, but an improvement from weeks where I get no exercise in, so that’s a win and I’ll take it!

thursday:  run 2 + zumba
friday:  hot yoga
saturday:  run 3
sunday:  playing it by ear
monday:  bike 6 + zumba
tuesday:  run 2 + powerflex
wednesday:  rest day


{last week.}
one:  stick to my workout plan!  Sometimes I suck at this and I allow whatever’s going on in my life to become an excuse.
two: find/prepare one new recipe.
three: get up when my alarm goes off in the morning. The snooze button is getting a little too much use these days.

It’s official.  The snooze button and I are officially BFFs.  I think there was one day all week I got up when my alarm went off!  I wake up slowly and I’m okay with that.  My family will tell you I am not one to jump out of bed in the morning!  I did make a new recipe, but my workout schedule didn’t go quite as planned.  I feel pretty good about it though!

{this week.}
one:  take a multivitamin every day.
two:  journaling and God time every night.
three:  bake!  It’s something I love, but I couldn’t tell you the last time I did.

Looks to me like you did great, Mindy! I hate waking up early too, but with my oldest daughter going to school at 7:00 (ugh! Can you imagine?!), I learned a couple tricks. I started sitting in front of the computer first thing; I read somewhere that the blue light tricks your sleepy brain into thinking it’s waking up time.

Aww, thanks Mandy! Also…7am?! That’s ridiculous! Some days, I’m just rolling out of bed at that time!
