weekly recap: week of 10.27 – 11.02

Looking back to last week’s recap, things didn’t  go so hot.  Between getting sick and the craziness of life getting in the way, I felt like I crashed and burned.  I was really excited for this week to start feeling better and end the week feeling much more successful.

thursday:  rest or bike 5 miles
run 1 mile + elliptical 3 miles
yoga or powerflex 
run 1-2 miles + bike 5 miles
elliptical 3 miles + bike 5 miles
run 1-2 miles + bike 5 miles
rest day

I’m so glad I opted to take Thursday as one more day to rest and recuperate; I woke up Friday morning feeling better than I had all week!  Saturday, errands got the best of my time and the gym never happened.

This week will be more of a challenge in that I’m once again out of my element much of the time (last week it was due to house/dog sitting; this time, taking care of my niece and nephew).  I have access to the gym my sister uses, so I plan to take advantage of that!

This week is an out of the ordinary one, being at my sister and brother-in law’s to take care of their kids.  Their on vacation to celebrate their 10th anniversary for a few days (in London! Totally jealous).  My mom and I are hanging out to tag team.  I do have access to their gym for $5 a day, but most likely won’t take advantage of it.  I’m cheap.

monday:  bike 5 + zumba
tuesday:  run 2 + powerflex
wednesday:  rest day


{last week.}
one:  track all of my points. every day. good or bad.
two:  drink at least 64 ounces of water a day.  
three:  finishing reading American Wife
four:  in bed + lights out by 11 every night.

I did pretty decent this week.  I did finish American Wife and enjoyed it a lot (I’ll post a review soon!).  On the other three goals, I was successful about 5 days.

one:  drink at least 64 ounces of water a day.  
two:  get back to blogging consistently. I’ve been such a slacker lately!
three:  stock my fridge back up with healthy options.  Between house/dog sitting and baby sitting, my fridge will be sparse when I get back home!

Congrats on getting back to it and feeling better. I love your goals and definitely second on the water thing – I could definitely afford to drink some more!

I’m glad you’re feeling better and I definitely think you were right to take extra rest days last week!
Your goals sound great 🙂
I really need to get on the drinking thing with you this week as I’m back home and my room is 2 floors up from the kitchen so I tend to drink less (read: I’m lazy about stairs!)
