I got the new Facebook Timeline profile and I love it.  People are going to complain about the new format when it launches, I absolutely guarantee it, but so far I think it’s great!  It’s definitely not perfect yet and the behind the scenes people have some tweaking to do, but I think it has the potential to make people look at social media in a completely new light.  It’s more scrapbook, less profile.

So fun.

My latest house/dog sitting gig ended today.  I’m excited to sleep in my own bed tonight, although the pups seem to have taken to sleeping on the bed with me, so that’s kind of charming.  I’ll miss that.  Mostly.  They’re kind of bed hogs.

I was so excited to use up the last of this gem of Trader Joe’s sunflower seed butter yesterday.

Because that meant this morning’s breakfast was overnight oats in a jar made up of remnants of the jar, 1ish tablespoon, 1/2 cup raw oats, 1/2 cup almond milk, and 2 tablespoons chia seeds.

On another note, I keep hoping Trader Joe’s will one day open a store here in Grand Rapids.  I would be a frequent shopper; probably single handedly keep them in business, for real.  Are you listening, Trader Joe’s Powers That Be?  Please come to my city!  I think you’ll like it here.  I sure do!

I had a mid morning snack of some leftover wedding cake someone brought into the office.

Holy sugary sweetness.  I apparently can’t handle that much sugar in one sitting anymore!

How’s your sweet tooth?  Could you handle all that sweet stuff?

We DEFINITELY need a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods here. It’s almost criminal we don’t. As for all that sugar – no way! I always pick the piece with the least amount of frosting.

I will always love bagels and keep eating them no matter how much they lack nutritionally, so you’re not alone.
Part of the excitement of moving to CA for me was easy access to TJ’s and Whole Foods. Hopefully GR will get one of those soon.
