the size of your success.

I stumbled upon this awhile back and loved it.  I’m such a sucker for good quotes.  It really struck me when thinking about marathon training, but I think it’s so applicable to life in general or whatever goal you might be working towards.  Disappointment or perceived failures can be such a stumbling block and it gets easy to let that bring you to a halt rather than just tripping you up, but it’s so important to get up and keep going!

The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.

Feeling down for the count with a migraine yesterday has thrown me off!  I really had no idea what day it was most of the morning!  The good part is that I’ve been pretty convinced it was Monday.  Every time I realize that it’s actually Tuesday, it makes the day a bit brighter!

I keep forgetting to stop by the store to pick up some almond milk.  Thus, the bowl of cereal I was craving this morning was out.  Fail.

I went to my standby of toast (on an English muffin this time around!), with sunflower seed butter and white chocolate chips.  I wasn’t quite as much of a fan of it with the muffin.  Now I know.

I grabbed the rest of the salsa verde roasted vegetables to bring for lunch.  I’m not sure if spices and flavors kicked in since I made it a few days ago or if I just didn’t notice it the first time, but there was a bit of a kick to it today!

Not so much that it was unbearable, but definitely enough that I noticed it!  My tongue may be tingling just a bit now.

Did you see my review of The Black Swan from this morning?  It’s been 2 days since I’ve watched it and the movie is still making me think!  Signs of a good film right there, my friends.
