And, the four day weekend has officially begun!!!  I am so, so happy!

It was not exactly the greatest of days.  Fortunately, hurt feelings and frustration and a bit of anger make for awesome motivation for a workout.  My boss ended up letting us leave half an hour early, so I bypassed Zumba and just hit up the elliptical instead.  I did three miles, plus another day of the 100 push up challenge (53 today!), and a ton of crunches.  Today was one of the harder days for the push ups; I only did ten of the proper form before switching to modified.  Still, I finished, so that’s what really counts!

Once I got home, I immediately poured out a glass of vino and set about making dinner.

I put together a sammie with some hummus and sprouts and had some roasted veg on the side with zucchini, summer squash, and a red potato.  I marinated the veg with Garlic Gold Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette and Italian seasoning and roasted at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.  Perfecto.

I had a minor mishap with the sprayer faucet on the kitchen sink while cooking.  Oops.  Call it an early shower?

I don’t have my youth group tonight due to the holiday, so I’m doing a few things around the house, reading a bit more of The Girl who Played with Fire, watching the new episode of Hellcats (for once I get to watch it on TV rather than online!), and packing so I’m ready to head to my sister’s after dinner with my dad and stepmom in the morning.  Whew.  Busy night!

Yikes! Loosing the “fight” with the faucet is sooooo something that would happen to me! I’m also such a klutz that I’m usually sporting at least a bruise or 2 just from your basic walking-into-(insert ANYTHING)/falling down. Yep – a grown adult that sometimes just falls down like a 2 year old. That’s me : )

Okay…the one girl revolution is my little sister, Mindy, and if you know her like I know her you’d find this picture particularly amusing and not all the unusual. We love you , Meems.

Sadly true. Klutzy moments define my life.
