The actual day of Thanksgiving is done for another year, but the sentiment continues. Well, so does the eating since I have one more dinner on Sunday.
I am thankful for these little ones. Max and Emma are precious. I love, love, love being Aunt Mindy.
Today has been a lazy day completely void of Black Friday insanity. I had a chill morning, sleeping in a bit, having an easy breakfast of peanut butter on an English muffin, and convincing Emma it would be really fun for her to play with my hair. Success! That kept her entertained for a solid 45 minutes of pure bliss.
Early afternoon, we all ventured out to see the latest Disney creation, Tangled.
It was really cute and a great twist on the story of Rapunzel! Mandy Moore was the voice behind Rapunzel and she’s one of my favorite people in Hollywood, so I was excited. Go see it, people!
It’s not a movie without popcorn (and peanut butter M&Ms…and Diet Coke…)
Once we got home, Mom took the kids on in Sorry. She lost. Good effort, madre!
Ricky and Lucy were pretty uninterested in the game.
Life is good today, my friends. I am quite content.
Off to go make some more progress in The Girl who Played with Fire. It’s getting super intense! I can’t wait to find out what happens!
