successful shopping.

I had a quick and successful trip to the mall today!  I found cute khaki pants at the first store I tried and ended up buying a new shirt as well.  I decided the turquoise shirt I had was really more in the teal range, and found a great one that will be good for the family portrait and that I can wear to work.  I am not a huge fan of clothes shopping, so I was really happy it was an easy trip!  Winning, duh.

What do you think of my new outfit?

I think the pants, in all actuality, have a bit more of a brown-ish hue to them to truly be considered khaki, but I think they’re pretty close.

After the mall, I made a trip to Starbucks – and forgot about the “only get a fancy coffee drink on the weeks I lose weight” rule.  Oops.  I had a grande soy caramel macchiato and spent a little time attempting to read Oliver Twist. It’s definitely a higher comprehension level than the books I’ve been reading of late!

My roommates are both gone for the weekend – they’ve headed to the east side of the state for Easter festivities, so it’s been quiet around the house!  I did some cleaning, so they’ll have a nice, clean house to come home to!  So fresh and so clean, clean.  Seriously though, I think it looks really great.  Just sayin’.

I munched on a bowl of cantaloupe, strawberries, and pineapple after I finished.

Dinner was pretty simple:  a grilled cheese made with extra sharp cheddar and sweet potato fries.

The rest of the afternoon/evening has been pretty quiet.  I caught up on some TV (Ellen, Big Bang Theory, and Hellcats) and watched a movie (Easy A).  I had an Oberon and a Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg while watching the movie.

Do you like shopping for clothes or do you only shop with something specific in mind?
