Sorry I was a bit MIA this weekend. I felt the need for a bit of time away from the computer, a technology fast, if you will (sans a few tweets from the iPod!). Sometimes, I feel so glued to my computer, being at one most of the day at work, then coming home and generally turning my laptop on right away. Every once in awhile, I just need a little time away.
It was a very quiet weekend. All the people I normally spend my time with were either working, had previous plans, and/or were spending time with their boyfriend/fiance/husband. I felt a quite bit lonely, to be honest. I should have used it as a chance to get some great workouts in, get a lot of productive stuff done, and work on some things, such as my scrapbook, that often get pushed aside.
What I should have done and what I actually did were two completely different things. I slept in and napped, I read and watched a couple movies, made a trip to the mall, and just relaxed. It was nice, but at the same time, I look back and somewhat feel like I wasted an entire weekend. Such is life.
Lazy days or not, the rest was good and I feel ready to go for another week!
Speaking of, I think I’m going to start making some goals for myself each week. So, here we go for this week!
**Water, water, water!!! I have not been getting nearly as much water as I should be, especially since it’s been so hot and humid out lately. This week, I will get at least 64 ounces in everyday.
**Running. In anticipation of my half marathon training starting, I will do a 3 mile run at least once.
