I was talking to one of my friends on Google Chat this afternoon about how I was tired and wished Starbucks or Biggby (a local chain) delivered. A little while later, he offered to pick me up a drink! I had a soy caramel marvel.

I had a cashew cookie Larabar a bit before leaving the office. I hadn’t tried this flavor before and I loved it! I especially loved the simple ingredient list: dates, cashews. That’s it.
I did a quick stop by the library before heading to the Y for Zumba. It was an alright class this week, not super high energy or a ton of good heart pumping routines. Still a good, fun workout, though!
peanut butter banana smoothie.
I wanted a smoothie for dinner and as I started pulling out the frozen fruit, I knew it wasn’t going to hit the spot. Instead, I decided to get a little creative and came out with a great result! It’s like a banana smothered with peanut butter, but in smoothie form!
- 1 large banana
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter (creamy, not crunchy!)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2-3 ice cubes
- topping: cacao nibs (optional)
Throw everything except the cacao nibs into a blender until smooth, pour and enjoy! So good!!
