Ask and you shall receive.  Well, sort of.

I was talking to one of my friends on Google Chat this afternoon about how I was tired and wished Starbucks or Biggby (a local chain) delivered.  A little while later, he offered to pick me up a drink!  I had a soy caramel marvel.

Thanks again, Sanjeet!  You’re the best! 🙂

I had a cashew cookie Larabar a bit before leaving the office.  I hadn’t tried this flavor before and I loved it!  I especially loved the simple ingredient list:  dates, cashews.  That’s it.

I did a quick stop by the library before heading to the Y for Zumba.  It was an alright class this week, not super high energy or a ton of good heart pumping routines.  Still a good, fun workout, though!

peanut butter banana smoothie.

I wanted a smoothie for dinner and as I started pulling out the frozen fruit, I knew it wasn’t going to hit the spot.  Instead, I decided to get a little creative and came out with a great result!  It’s like a banana smothered with peanut butter, but in smoothie form!

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter (creamy, not crunchy!)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2-3 ice cubes
  • topping:  cacao nibs (optional)

Throw everything except the cacao nibs into a blender until smooth, pour and enjoy!  So good!!

Gotta jet – Katy Perry is a guest star on How I Met Your Mother tonight!!

That smoothie sounds really good! I don’t have vanilla protein powder, so I might try it with chocolate – maybe it will taste like a peanut butter cup 🙂
