one continuous mile.

Since rethinking how I approach food and and exercise over the weekend, it’s been such a refreshing change of pace in my life.  I don’t feel guilty about grabbing a fun size Snickers bar from my coworkers candy jar (as long as it’s only one!), but the biggest difference has been exercise.

I don’t feel like exercise and going to the gym is something I have to do anymore.  It’s something I want to do and I feel more excited about heading that way after work.  Granted, it’s only been a few days, but I love it.

Yesterday, I did 10.0 miles on the bike at varied resistance from 1-14.  I had to run home and walk the dog after work, so I missed Zumba!  Sadface.  The biking felt great, though.  And besides, the little guy was so excited!

Me?  Not as much.  Winter is well on it’s way – Michigan is getting COLD!

Tonight’s workout was a 2.0 mile run and it’s the strongest I’ve felt since I started running again – complete with an entire mile without having to walk!  You guys, that feels huge and it’s been awhile since I’ve been able to do that.  I finished in 22:28 before heading to PowerFlex.

Check out the omelet I made for dinner last night.  It ended up being more ome than let though! 😉 I added too much and it fell apart pretty quickly.

It sure tasted good though!

Breakfast was toast.  Again.  But, lunch totally made up for it when one of my co-workers twisted my arm (it didn’t take much) and talked me into going to Qdoba for a burrito.

Their rice isn’t my favorite, I think it’s a little bland, but I sure do love their guacamole.  Okay, who am I kidding.  We all know I love guacamole, period.

Gotta jet!  It’s almost time for Glee!  Yea!

Congrats girl! I love the superb strong feeling that comes from running whatever distance you’ve struggled with continuously after a break! Next up: two miles 🙂

Way to go! And I’m rooting for you on the longer bike rides. Maybe when the weather is warm you can do some outdoor riding? It is SO much fun!

Also, guacamole is one of the main reasons I go to any place with Mexican food. It makes everything just that much more delicious. 🙂

I actually wanted to all summer but couldn’t find nozzles that go with the pump for my tires! I think they got lost in the process of moving. Also, I really need to take my bike in for a tune-up closer to spring. I’m toying with the idea of a sprint tri in the summer!
