Let’s see. Rewinding to last night, I had a relatively small dinner. I was so full from the popcorn and lunch at Steak ‘n’ Shake from my aunt/nephew outing yesterday, that I didn’t want a ton. I still had some spinach artichoke dip left, so I warmed that up with some tortilla chips.
In all honesty, the dip is probably past it’s prime, but it tasted great, so I ate it anyhow! Bad decision? Probably, but I’m still alive, so it couldn’t have been that bad!
The dogs were up early again, but after I fed them and let them out, I crawled back into bed for another half hour or so. Best decision I could have made, that little bit longer of dozing felt amazing!!
I threw together a quick bowl of Kashi cereal for breakfast: half Heart to Heart and half Honey Sunshine.
I’m not a huge fan of the Honey Sunshine, but I got a few free boxes awhile back, so it seems mixing it with other stuff makes it much better!
I should have added something more to it though. I was ready to eat again by 10 am! Fortunately, right around the same time, I got busy with a project, so it took my mind off the hunger.
I realized last night that while I brought a bunch of food with me to house sit, none of it really pulls together well for an actual meal. I need to go grocery shopping anyhow and this is just that much more proof of it!
For lunch, I put together a peanut butter, honey, and apple sandwich using an Arnold’s Sandwich Thin. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not that I already had all the ingredients, sans apple which I brought this morning, for it at my desk!
My lunch break is just about over…gotta go get some actual work done! Hope you’re have a fab Monday!
