Well, last week was the first week I started back up with posting my workout plans and also started with setting weekly goals.  To say I got off to a rough start is an understatement.

I was pleased when I got on the scale this week, though!  I really did not expect to lose; I was really bracing myself for the exact opposite, if I’m being honest.  Down 1.8 pounds?  Sounds good to me!

thursday:  run 1 mile + zumba
friday:  hot yoga
saturday:  rest day
sunday:  run 1 mile + elliptical 3 miles + {tentative yoga}
monday:  bike 5 miles + zumba
tuesday:  run 2 miles + powerflex
wednesday:  bike 10 miles

Between feeling lousy and life getting uber stressful and busy, pretty much nothing went as planned.  I’m okay with it.  For as much as I’ve been sleeping lately, I feel like I need the rest more than anything else.  I mean, I’ve been getting around 8 hours of sleep every night, plus a 2+ hour nap after work.  Exhausted, much?

This week, I’m planning but playing by ear as I continue to work on feeling healthy again.  I start house/dog sitting on Saturday, which makes getting to my normal classes next to impossible since it doesn’t leave me enough time to go feed the dogs and let them out, still making it back downtown in time.  Such is life.

thursday:  rest or bike 5 miles
friday:  run 1 mile + elliptical 3 miles
saturday:  yoga or powerflex
sunday:  run 1-2 miles + bike 5 miles
monday:  elliptical 3 miles + bike 5 miles
tuesday:  run 1-2 miles
wednesday:  rest day

two:  drink at least 64 ounces of water a day.  
three:  read one book.  
four:  in bed + lights out by 11 every night.

The only thing I was successful at this week was getting to bed by 11.  The only night that didn’t happen was Saturday, when I went to the Michigan State/Wisconsin football game.  The game wasn’t even over by 11 – I think I ultimately crashed well after 2 am that night.  Also, I did make a good dent in a book; I’m reading American Wife and I’m about halfway through the 500+ page novel.

So, this week’s goals?  Eerily similar to last week.

two:

three:  
finishing reading American Wife
four:  
in bed + lights out by 11 every night.

I love the format for your goals! I may have to borrow this… although I usually start my week on Monday, per my calendar. I think I’ll start this up on Monday. 🙂
