This afternoon, my mom and I went to see a production of Phantom of the Opera and it was phenomenal. I sang “Music of the Night” in choir during my senior year for our spring concert. It was one of my favorite songs we performed during all of my years in choir. It’s such quality music and the lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful.
I got a couple good laughs. Before the show, there was a girl behind me who realized that it was an Andrew Lloyd Weber show and referenced the show The Nanny how Mr. Sheffield worked with Weber. Then, when we were leaving, a girl behind us said “what was with all the singing?”…yep, it’s a musical about an opera house. Not so much a comedy show!
Before we headed out for the show, we went to one of my favorite breakfast places, Wolfgang’s. I had a vegetable and cheddar cheese omelet with English muffin toast:
And a side order of hash browns with onions:
So much food, but oh so delicious! I ate a little over half and I’m still full almost eight hours later! (Although, I did have a Milky Way on the way home…I was craving some chocolate!).
I love getting to spend time with my mom and I’m so glad she was able to come visit for a bit! Thanks, Mom!!!
