Well, Jillian June is going to turn into Jillian June and July. Between being sick for almost a week and coming to the general realization that workout videos are not my favorite way to exercise, my June challenge to do the 30 Day Shred is not going quite as I expected.
It’s June 20, so based on my original plan for the month, I should have just finished my last day on Level 2. In actuality, I just finished Day 2. Not quite the same. I am determined to get through the end of Level 3, even if that means going into July. My revised goal is to have made it all the way through the Shred by mid-July.
Level 2 is intense. I’ve had to take several more moments to rest in this level. I’m a little worried what the final level has in store for me, if this one is so rough! I am realizing I have far less upper body strength than I thought I had! I really hope that if I stick with it, I will feel and see a major improvement!
Tonight’s dinner celebrated Father’s Day with my dad and stepmom at On the Border! Yum! We shared an order of guacamole for an appetizer and I had the avocado and red chile pesto enchiladas for my main course. It was delicious, but I ate much more than I should have!
