it works wonders.

I am feeling SO much better!  I’m not really sure what it is about the Epley Maneuver that the doctor did that makes it work so well, but man, it sure does something right!  It works wonders, let me tell ya!  There were a couple brief moments during the evening where I got dizzy, but definitely nothing like it was the past 48 hours!

Before Anthem tonight, we had a leader’s meeting which always means free dinner.  Generally it’s Thai food or pizza (I was really hoping for Thai tonight, it sounded so good!), so Jimmy John’s was an unexpected surprise.

They’re really good about having options for the vegetarians, so I made a beeline to that tray of sandwiches.  I had two pieces, which would be the equivalent of a normal sandwich.  I added a little extra tomato and cucumber to each!  Yum.

With a bit of salad and some sweet potato chips on the side.  I had a couple fun size pieces of candy, too.  I heart Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!

I had some cinnamon sugar toast a bit before leaving the house to tide me over!  This is definitely one of my comfort foods – my mom would make it all the time when I didn’t feel good as a kid.

The girls were super chatty tonight, but it was really good to see them again since we didn’t meet last week because of Spring Break.  We’ve only got a few more weeks of youth group left, then another year is in the bag!  It’s hard to believe I’ve been with these girls for almost two years now – it’s so amazing to see how much they’ve grown in just that time!

I’d really love to stay with them through all of high school, but I’m definitely taking it one year at a time!  Three more years is a big commitment and I don’t know where life will take me in that time.  Crazy to think about what that timeframe could bring – especially looking back and seeing how my life has changed since I started mentoring them!  Fun.

That does look like a good dinner they provided. Love veggie subs! And who can turn down a fun-sized candy? I know I can’t! 😀
