injury prevention.

I spent a good majority of the morning sitting like this:

I’ve had that dull ache in my right shin since I went to bed last night so I did a bit of major injury prevention.  It seemed to help!

I had the most delicious salad at lunch today.  I can only take partial credit for it though.  I bought a pre-made salad when I was grocery shopping on Sunday that had a spring mix, pecans, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries.  I added some Craisins, feta cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette.

And this peanut butter chocolate bar thing.

Remember how last week I said we’re always celebrating birthdays around my office?  Case in point:  another one today.  Naturally, with a Spongebob theme.  Apparently the birthday boy (a grown man, mind you) is obsessed?  Don’t ask.  I don’t get it either.

I had a small piece…with extra frosting on the side, of course!

Tonight, I had plans to hang out with my dear friend, Andrea.  After a quick discussion on G-chat this morning, we both realized that while we love spending time together, neither of us were particularly up for it tonight.  We postponed until next week instead.

So tonight’s revised agenda starts with dinner:  the last of my enchiladas.

Once dinner digests a bit, I’m going to head to the gym for an easy couple of miles.  My leg is feeling good now, but I don’t want to push it.

Are you a big frosting fan or would you rather just have the cake?

I am not a sweets person; I’d rather have the salty chex mix 🙂 or popcorn (addict?) where do you work; that spongebob cake is unconventional! I love it! Best wishes with nursing the injury back to full health

Haha, I work for a college…it was unconventional, but then again, so is the person who had the birthday!
