in a rut.

I kind of forgot to eat dinner last night.

Well, it wasn’t so much forget as I had a minor crisis to deal with.  I went to let the dogs in since they had been outside for a bit and they were both so completely dirty!  Thanks to the couple days of heavy rain, things were a bit muddy, apparently!  I cleaned them off as best I could, but by the time I finished it was much later than I anticipated and had to get out the door so I could be to church for Anthem in time!  Halfway there, I realized I hadn’t eaten!

I swung into Biggy for a latte thinking that would be better than nothing.  Fortunately, there also were snacks in the form of chips, salsa, and guac when we broke out into smaller groups.  Nutrition at it’s finest, people!

weigh in.

Well technically, these numbers from Tuesday, not today.  Since I’m house sitting (and not quite obsessive enough to drag my scale with me!), I hopped on a couple days early and was really happy!

last weigh in: 163.0 | this week: 160.8 | change: -2.2 | overall: -72.2

The numbers are starting to go back in the right direction!  Now, let’s just keep in that way!

breakfast.

Continuing on last night’s trend of quality nutrition, my eats for today haven’t been all that top notch either.  Breakfast was the same bagel combination as yesterday – cheddar herb with sun-dried tomato cream cheese.

lunch.

Again, nothing that exciting…cheese pizza.  I know, you’re jealous.

Wait, what’s that?  You’re not that jealous.  No, I wouldn’t be either.  To be honest, it was more just out of a state of nothing sounding good.  I think I’m in a rut.

I’ve been wanting to mix up my fitness routines lately, try some new stuff.  The whole in a rut thing feels like it’s not just in my food.  Don’t get me wrong, I love running, yoga, and Zumba…but I also pay a lot of money every month to have a gym membership and I really don’t utilize all that it offers nearly as much as I should.  I printed out the class schedules and I’m pumped to try a few new things!

I don’t know what I’ll end up trying, but I can’t wait to check some things out!  I really wish they offered Body Pump – everyone who does that in the blog world seems to love it so much!

What’s your favorite exercise/fitness class?

Ever since I started eating healthy, I cannot get myself to eat greasy pizza. But that bagel looks good!
I have powerflex at my gym too! “hour of power” sounds tough lol…

I’m on a mission to lose 3″ off my waist. I signed up for Jillian Michaels’ online program and did the circuit workout for the first time today. Oh. My. Goodness. I almost couldn’t make it. So challenging, and I was only doing level 1!!! I’m in love.

I think Body Pump and Poweflex are very similar…..it’s been a while since I have taken either though! 🙂
You should try Spin class and take the instructor Marcia ( I’m Marcia by the way…) 😉
I love boot camp style classes, spin and I like turbo kick as well.
Have fun!
