It’s been an awesome weekend thus far!! I’m a bit sad it’s starting to wind down! Although I have a new toy to entertain me, which has made the day FLY by! Keep reading for more on that… 
After a successful run at the Irish Jig yesterday, we all headed to Wolfgang’s for breakfast. We had to wait almost an hour for a table, but it’s so worth it! I heart Wolfgang’s.
I had the same thing I get every single time: vegetable and cheddar omelete, English muffin toast, and hash browns with onions. Is it bad that I don’t even need to open the menu anymore?
That evening, I headed out towards the lake shore for a Muskegon Lumberjacks game with Kayla and a bunch of her Wisconsin buddies that are in town for the weekend. Major thanks to Kayla’s fiancé for the hook-up on the tickets!!
I had a snack of pomegranate Chobani with chia seeds and Bear Naked granola before I headed out.
And some good hockey game food at the arena: a soft pretzel and a beer.
The ‘Jacks made a good effort, but ultimately lost 8-4. I saw a couple fights though, so really, that way more entertaining than a win for me!
After the game, we all walked over to the Michigan Athletic Club (aka The MAC)…known for their mac ‘n’ cheese. So, I of course had to get their specialty! I had a small bowl of Florentine MAC before heading back to Grand Rapids. It was their house blend with spinach.
This morning, I lounged around the house for awhile and had a bowl of cereal.
And then, Sara and I headed to the Apple store so I could buy…
…drum roll please…
an iPhone!!!
I have wanted an iPhone for AGES and was thrilled when Verizon finally got one! I was going to wait until the iPhone 5 came out this summer, but with my trip to Washington DC coming up next weekend, I thought a smartphone would be a handy thing to have. Okay, this reasoning may just be justifying the purchase, but whatevs. I’m thrilled with my new phone!!!
