gym compromises.

I did a little compromising at the gym tonight.  I wanted to get some cardio in, but I knew I didn’t have time for Zumba because it starts a bit later.  I tacked on a couple extra miles to my time on the bike and went 7.0 miles in about 31 minutes.  Something is better than nothing!

After a reminder of why I shouldn’t go grocery shopping when I’m hungry (hello, $80+ worth of food!), but I got a bunch of good stuff.  Plus, I don’t plan on shopping again before I go home for Thanksgiving, so it should last me through then.

I threw a California Pizza Kitchen Margherita thin crust in the oven while I made a ridiculous amount of chili for the week.

I love me some thin crust pizza!

Before cleaning up the disaster the kitchen had become, it was time for a round of Jeopardy! drinking game.  Yep, that’s right.  Every right answer equals a drink.  We’re cool around these parts.

I have to say this game is not nearly as fun during the Tournament of Champions.

One more slice of pizza found its way to my stomach while cleaning up my chili-venture.  I should get something productive done with the rest of my night, but I’m already curled up in bed with Dancing with the Stars on (go JR!!), so my desire to work?  Very quickly diminishing.

Would you ever audition for Jeopardy?  I like to think I could hold my own on the show!

My husband actually did the online test for Jeopardy – he’s full of useless knowledge and crap and never made it to the “test” audition. I’m great with certain categories, like booze and medicine, but ask any literature questions and I’m screwed.

That’s funny – I just registered for the online test! I don’t have high hopes of getting anywhere, but it’s worth a shot!

I’m terrible at trivia, so I avoid Jeopardy. But I do love California Pizza Kitchen! I found your blog on PBF as well and just wanted to check it out!

Mmm that pizza looks absolutely delicious!
I’m really craving some pizza now, luckily I’m planning to have some tomorrow 🙂
I’ve been having to compromise on my exercise loads lately so I think you managing to get 7 miles on the bike in is fantastic!

Pizza is high on my list of favorite foods – this one was particularly delicious!

I would be THE WORST at Jeopardy. I just am not quite quick enough. I like to watch and try though!

I would love to be on the show, but I think I’d panic under the pressure!! I think buzzing in would kill me! That and remembering to answer as a question.

I think Jeopardy is just way too hard. Chris is pretty decent at it, but he’s AMAZING at Wheel of Fortune, so I keep getting him to register for that instead because I think he would kick butt. He thinks it’s too boring though :).

I love WOF! “Vanna White” was one of the first things I said as a baby!
