Happy FRIDAY! I don’t know about you, but this has felt like a really long week!
I started another round of house/dog-sitting last night. Yes, I know I practically just finished but they’re off again and it’s a good, easy gig so I jump at the chance any time I can.
When the dogs woke me up at 4:45 this morning though, I may have been having some second thoughts. I never quite fell back into a deep sleep, so I’ve been chugging the coffee this morning!
Breakfast was a quickie: toast with sunflower seed butter and white chocolate chips.
The white chocolate chips were the start of what has been an ongoing sugar buzz thus far today. Not only did I have those, but also two Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Cream fun size bars and a sugar cookie.
Okay, okay, there have since been two more cookies consumed. The inevitable crash from the sugar buzz should hit anytime now.
I had a real craving to have a sandwich for lunch today, but since I didn’t have anything to make one, it was down to either Subway or Jimmy John’s. Two other people in the office were also talking about JJs, so it was decided.
I had the veggie with lettuce, avocado, tomato, onion, sprouts, and provolone cheese. Plus, BBQ chips that I would eat every single day if I could.
In other news, Monday is apparently going to be a scorcher around West Michigan:
I clearly need to go shopping. I don’t have clothes for that kind of heat!
