I realized last night as I was falling asleep that it was the one year anniversary of my commencement ceremony from grad school. I can’t believe it’s been a year since I’ve been a student. I miss it a lot.
I was really craving some fruits and veg this morning to kick my week off on the right foot. I threw together a green monster as I got ready for work. Temperatures in the teens and I’m making a smoothie for breakfast. Sounds about right!
The combo of frozen berries, a banana, a coup of spinach, and a cup of almond milk totally hit the spot. Plus, three servings of fruits and veg down by 8 am isn’t such a bad deal!
While I was sick, I had a serious craving for pudding. It’s kind of stuck around.

After a quite productive morning working ahead since I’ll be gone so much over the holidays (hello eleven day break, I can’t wait to see you!), it was lunchtime before I knew it! I warmed up my leftover burrito from Friday’s dinner.
No sooner had I finished eating than the fire alarms starting blaring! I think if it were ever a real fire, I’d be screwed. I took my sweet time making sure I had my phone, camera, and iPod in my purse, putting my boots on, and bundling up before heading towards the stairs.
Back to work!
