Thanks for all the kind and supportive words on this morning’s post about rejoining Weight Watchers (again!) and recommitting one more time to my weight loss effort!  For everyone who said you’re in the same boat – we’ll ALL do this!  It’s an encouragement to me to know that people are on the same journey I am.

Apparently it’s a High School Musical kind of day…you know, since we’re all in this together.

I’m a nerd.

I finally restocked my pantry with some chocolate chips to eat with my peanut butter toast; dark chocolate chips + peanut butter + toast = tastes practically like a peanut butter cup!

Lunch was simple with a Clif Bar and an apple.  The bar tasted like an oatmeal raisin cookie!  The apple tasted like, well, an apple.

After having to leave Zumba halfway through last week, I gave it another shot tonight and it went a lot better!  It was even more fun that usual because my friends Anna and Bethany came, too!  Zumba is a blast to begin with, but even more so with friends right there beside me!  I warmed up before class with 3.0 miles on the bike.  A solid workout all around!

When I saw Angela’s recipe for Pumpkin Mac ‘n Cheeze Sauce this morning, I immediately wanted to make it!  I’m so glad I did, it was amazing!  The only thing I did differently from her recipe was use regular butter since I didn’t have any Earth Balance (vegan “butter”) on hand.  If you like pumpkin, definitely go check out this recipe!

I topped it with some leftover pasta and spinach from the other night.

Of course, paired with some garlic toast!

The Tigers are still in the running to make it to the World Series!  They have to win their next two games against the Texas Rangers, but their win tonight gave me a glimmer of hope that it just might happen!  I’m hoping for a Tigers/Brewers face-off come time for the World Series!
