fourth row.

in Vegan for a Week

I stayed up late last night, vegged out in front of the TV.  First, new episodes of Big Bang Theory and The Office, before popping in my latest from Netflix, Secretariat.  A TV/movie night isn’t complete without some popcorn, right?

Secretariat was a great film, I would definitely recommend it.  I was really into horses when I was in 5th and 6th grade, so I knew a bit about the horse, but it was interesting to learn about the history of the family.  I always wonder how much of those films are truly accurate.

breakfast.

I took full advantage of having the apartment to myself this morning and stayed in bed until the last possible minute.  Not having to share the bathroom is glorious!  It did, however, leave me little time for breakfast so I had a bowl of cereal.  It’s honestly one of those breakfasts I could eat 7 days a week.

The highlight of the morning, though, came a little after 10 am when I scored FOURTH ROW seats to the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys show when they come through Grand Rapids!  Friends, I was so excited, my hands were quite literally shaking!  I’ve expressed my excitement about the NKOTBSB tour before, especially when they did their debut performance on the AMAs.  I may be a total nerd for it, but I am so freaking excited for this show and my EPIC seats!

There WILL be pictures.

After the tickets were purchased, I had the rest of my peanut and pecan mix from yesterday.

lunch.

Totally random combination for lunch today, which I feel like is the case more often than not.  Today featured peanut butter toast (naturally the thing to eat when you have peanuts for your morning snack!) and acorn squash I cooked a couple days ago.

I ate the entire squash (well, sans skin).  Let’s hope my belly doesn’t hate me for that in a while!

I’ve got dinner club tonight, I’m excited!  Hope your Friday is fantastic!

When I was a kid, I danced on stage with NKOTB. Wow, I can’t believe I just admitted that in public!
