easily swayed.

I got my asana handed to me on a yoga mat last night.  I had planned on running, but when Kayla tweeted that she was going to her first hot yoga class night, I was super excited, scratched my running plans, and joined her at the Yoga Hothouse.  I’ve gone there many times before, but never had I gotten anywhere near as sweaty as I did last night!  My clothes were so wet by the time I was done.  Despite that, it felt awesome!  I haven’t gone since February and I missed it so much!

Once I got home, I showered and then got to quick work making a green monster with mango Chobani, a banana, 1 cup frozen peaches, 1 cup spinach, a scoop of protein powder, and 2 cups water (although I should have stopped at one).

I spent the night zoned out in front of the television watching Glee (yay for a Fleetwood Mac tribute show!) and The Voice.  I missed the premiere of that last week, but I can definitely see how I might get hooked.

Breakfast this morning was an easy combo:  raspberry Chobani topped with vanilla almond granola.   It really didn’t keep me full as long as I was hoping though; I was hungry again a couple hours later.

All morning, I could really feel the effects of Monday’s weights session and yesterday’s yoga – my arms and shoulders are sore!  It’s such a good feeling though, to know that I really worked hard!

I brought a lunch from home, but a couple people invited me to tag along to lunch at Maggie’s Kitchen which is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Grand Rapids.  It’s been months and months since I’ve been there, so I very willingly joined in.  Clearly, I’m easily swayed from my original plans!

The only bad thing about Maggie’s is they don’t have a ton of vegetarian friendly options – both their beans and rice are out of the picture.  I got a cheese quesadilla and an order of chips and guac.

Way better than the meal I had planned!
