dress shopping part deux.

Tonight was a continuation of Saturday’s wedding dress shopping for my friend Andrea. And…drumroll please…we (and by we, I mean she) found the dress! Woohoo! She said yes to the dress! How exciting!

Work was a busy day of running all over the city, delivering (extremely heavy) fruit baskets to various outpatient physician offices as a thank you for working with our medical students. It was a semi-great arm workout lifting those and carrying them around! Good thing, too, since I won’t make it to the Y tonight. Okay, I have time to make it, but I’m tired and have to be at work at six freaking thirty in the morning. So, bed is early, early, early for me tonight!

Since delivering the baskets took the better part of the day, my boss and I stopped for lunch at a local Mexican place for dinner. We split some chips and cheese for an appetizer, then I had a mini wet bean burrito for my lunch. No pictures to show for it since she is one of the people that doesn’t know about my site yet and don’t feel quite comfortable sharing about it yet. Anyhow, it’s seven hours later and I am still feeling comfortably full, so no dinner tonight for me! Yes, I know, I should eat something…but, I’m not. Perhaps the fact that I’m still full is a sign that I ate too much at lunch, but I really didn’t feel like I did!

So, now it’s 8:30 and the sun is still shining, but I’m off to take an Advil PM and get some sleep. 5:15 will come far too quickly!

No, I work for a medical school (so, I suppose by extension, I work for the area hospitals since my students are doing their clinical work there!).
