apples to apples.

I think I say this every day, but boot camp was intense this morning. I think it’s going to get continually more so throughout the rest of the class (seven days down, thirteen to go!). Is it completely unreasonable that I think I can feel a difference after only seven days? I swear my clothes fit different!

I had my standard pre-class Luna breakfast. I really wanted another green monster for breakfast, but I didn’t think my roommate would appreciate me running the blender while she was still sleeping. So, a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats and almond milk it was.

I am still feeling the after effects of yesterday’s focus on chest and shoulders in class! Every time I move today, there are those muscles! I love it!

It’s now 1:30 and I am just now getting around to lunch. I prefer taking a later lunch so it makes the afternoon fly by, but this is a little too late for my liking! Darn job interfering with my eating schedule! I’m having some tofu stir-fry I made over a week ago. Almost as soon as I finished it, I really had no desire to eat it, so it sat around in my fridge. Now I feel like it’s to the point I have to eat it or it’s going to go bad and who wants that?! Certainly not I!

I paired it with a fabulously juicy apple! Apples are by far one of my favorite parts of fall! I love eating them plain, apple pie, apple crisp, applesauce, caramel apple…and that’s all I can think of right now, but I know there’s more! Granny Smiths and Honeycrisp are my favorite to enjoy on their own.

Tonight, I’m meeting with the other bridesmaids for the wedding I’m in to talk logistics for the shower. We’re meeting at Panera at dinnertime, but I’m torn between eating there and having time for a run OR eating at home and no run. I think I’ll just wait and see how I’m feeling when I get home.

What is your favorite kind of apple?

In the fall I LOVE honeycrisp apples! When they’re not around Fuji is my go-to.
