a bit of a perk.

My “I’ll just take a quick nap before I go workout” last night turned into a 3 hour nap, although I don’t really know that you can call it a nap at that point.  I was up for a couple hours, then slept for about 6.5 more before getting up for work.

I was craving cereal this morning, but it’s often not enough to keep me full more than a couple hours, so I bulked it up with some granola.

The combination of Kashi and Bear Naked seemed to hold me over a bit longer than the cereal on its own.  Plus, it tasted awesome!!

morning snacks {or} breakfast part two.

I’m not sure if this could really be considered a snack or another meal.  I’m leaning towards meal.  I started out with some Jell-O vanilla pudding which always tastes especially good when I don’t feel good.

This is where it turns from snack into second breakfast.  Or, I suppose I could call it lunch since it was so late in the morning and I’m not really hungry now (at 12:30).  Whatever it is, I had yet another bagel.  I went to the kitchen area at work to rinse out my pudding cup and a tray of bagels had magically appeared!  Perhaps not the best thing for a sore throat, but it sure did taste good!

I ended up leaving work at 12.  I have a doctors appointment later this afternoon.  I’m not sure whatever is dragging me down is strep, but I feel yucky so it’s worth going to get checked out.  Plus, I get some great company.  I’m not such a huge fan of feeling lousy (especially considering I was sick a good chunk of December), but this face does help make it considerably better!

Time to go sleep for awhile!

I never stay full from cereal either, granola is the best!
